Frightening Teaser for Horror ‘The Remedy’ About a Flesh-Eating Entity​

“Fear has no cure.” Film Seekers has unveiled a teaser trailer for an indie horror film called The Remedy, the latest from filmmaker Alex Kahuam. It’s premiering at the 2026 SXSW London Film Festival this June and is still looking for distribution. “I’m beyond excited to give horror fans a first look at the teaser for The Remedy, a genre film that blends psychological tension and supernatural eeriness,” Kahuam states about this film. A troubled young man is the caregiver for both his terminally-ill mother and his mentally-ill sister. When he tries a desperate attempt to save his mom, he unleashes a supernatural entity that feeds on human flesh. Starring Timothy Granaderos (from “13 Reasons Why”) as Jason, with a cast including London Thor, Chris Mulkey, Jenny O’Hara, Dana Sparks, and legendary character actor Doug Jones.
