AEW Dynasty 2026 PPV card: Worthy of a triple main event

AEW Dynasty is coming fast on Sunday, April 12 from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. There is still a lot of work to do to fill out the PPV lineup. Only three matches have been confirmed, however, those three matches are strong enough to be a triple main event. The card currently includes:

• AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Kenny Omega
• AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (c) vs. Adam Copeland & Christian Cage
• Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley

Kenny Omega beat Swerve Strickland to grab the #1 contender spot. In revenge for putting hands on his wife, Cope thinks taking the tag titles would hurt FTR the most. Will Ospreay is also on a revenge mission to fight the man that broke his neck. The match against Jon Moxley does not seem to be for the AEW Continental Championship. At least not yet. Frankly, that’s probably for the better so Opsreay doesn’t need to contain his rage within the continental rules.

Thekla will likely defend the AEW Women’s World Championship in a rematch with Mina Shirakawa. The Toxic Spider cheated with brass knuckles. Mina won’t stop until she gets another shot.

Darby Allin versus Andrade El Idolo seems PPV worthy. MJF is paying the Callis Family to prevent Allin from climbing the ladder to the world title.

Those are the firm directions so far, and that makes five matches. We all know that Tony Khan likes to stuff the card like a turkey on Thanksgiving, so expect more bouts to be added.

Other potential matchups could be Ricochet trying to take back the AEW National Championship from Jack Perry and Kevin Knight battling cheating Kazuchika Okada for the AEW International Championship. We’ll see what Khan has planned for the stars like the Young Bucks, Swerve Strickland, Brody King, TNT champion Kyle Fletcher, and TBS champion Willow Nightingale.
