Dominik Mysterio has been a massive superstar since arriving in AAA, but this could be his final match in the lucha libre promotion. The greatest Mysterio of all Mysterios will defend the AAA Mega Championship with high stakes against Hijo del Vikingo. If Vikingo wins, then Dirty Dom will leave AAA forever. In essence, his lucha libre career in AAA is on the line. If Dominik is victorious, then Vikingo can never challenge him for the mega title again. The drama unfolds Saturday night (Mar. 14, 2026) on the Rey de Reyes special event from Puebla, Mexico.
The live portion of the card also includes the Rey de Reyes tournament final and Flammer’s open challenge to defend the Reina de Reinas Championship. The rest of the event will be taped for future TV episodes over the next couple of weeks.
The Rey de Reyes four-way final has several story angles at play for contestants La Parka, El Grande Americano (Chad Gable), El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser), and Santos Escobar. La Parka has the opportunity to establish his own legacy in the lineage of the beloved character. The Americanos are beefing over who is the real El Grande Americano. After Original Grande Americano violently attacked Pimpinela Escarlata, EGA has the emotional motivation to win this for Pimpi and for Mexico. Santos is feuding with El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. He interfered to cost Wagner his spot in the final, so perhaps the favor will be returned here. On top of the storylines, the winner will receive a future mega championship shot and a sacred sword. Penta will be on hand for the ceremonies.
Flammer is tired of trampling over AAA competition, so she wants a fresh challenge from Raw or Smackdown. Her opponent will be a surprise in the Reina de Reinas Championship bout.
Rey de Reyes airs for free at 10 pm ET on the WWE YouTube channel in English. The Spanish broadcast will stream on the WWE Español and AAA YouTube channels. In Mexico and Latin America, the AAA broadcast airs on Fox, Fox One, and Fox Tubi. In South America (except Brazil), head to the Fox YouTube channel.

WWE AAA REY DE REYES RESULTS FOR MARCH 14
Fenix is in the house to start the show. Animo! He wants to celebrate Rey de Reyes together with his people. Fenix introduced Penta as the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Fenix held the ropes open for his brother to enter the ring. Penta told his brother to stick around. Due to Penta’s injury, the Lucha Bros were unable to reunite in AAA. Penta suggested they team up for Triplemania. The people need to see the Lucha Bros together one more time. Penta then focused on hyping the history of Rey de Reyes. Next on the agenda was the IC title. He wants to defend it in AAA for the Mexican people. It sounds like Penta is waiting for a challenger to step up tonight (whether than match happens live or gets taped for next week).
Flammer’s open challenge was answered by Bayley!
AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Flammer (c) defeated Bayley to retain the title. In the middle of the match, Bayley grabbed Flammer for a belly-to-belly suplex. Flammer ripped off the middle turnbuckle in the process. In the end, Bayley had momentum after landing a flying elbow drop. Maravilla ran down to cause a ruckus, and La Hiedra came from the back side to mangle Bayley. The hugger handled them, but the distraction was still in play. Flammer rammed Bayley into the exposed turnbuckle. A Codebreaker and a running dropkick sealed the deal on Bayley. Las Toxicas celebrated Flammer’s victory.
Rey de Reyes tournament final: El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) defeated La Parka, El Grande Americano (Chad Gable), and Santos Escobar. Wild match. Jumping to the climax. Both Americanos loaded their mask with the steel plate. La Parka was standing in the middle. He ducked, and the Americanos headbutt each other. The Americanos brawled through the crowd to the back. EGA eventually returned and pointed to the upper deck. Bravo and Rayo handcuffed Original Grande Americano to the railing. OGA was out of the game. Santos wanted to use a chair on La Parka, but a man wearing the Fantasma mask pulled the chair away. Commentary was befuddled, but I suspect it was El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. in disguise. La Parka hit a rolling cutter on Santos. EGA blasted La Parka with a loaded headbutt. EGA did the same to Santos for the win. El Grande Americano did it for Pimpi and Mexico!
El Grande Americano’s Rey de Reyes sword ceremony will take place next week.
AAA Mega Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) defeated Hijo del Vikingo to retain the title. No DQ rules in place for the main event, so that would clearly mean shenanigans. Dominik hit a Michinoku Driver on Vikingo. Dorian Roldan rushed into the ring to break the pin. Dominick shoved the little man down in the corner, so he waved in for the giant Omos. Omos snatched a trashcan from Dom and threw it back in his face. Dorian passed the title belt to Vikingo, who placed it around his waist for a frog splash. Vikingo went splat when Dom rolled away. Omos chokslammed Dominik onto the apron and again in the ring. Mini Vikingo ran in to interfere for a super rana on Vikingo. Omos double goozled Mini Vikingo high into the air. Dom struck Omos with a low blow. Dirty Dom and Mini Vikingo unloaded chair shots to chop Omos down. Dom hit Vikingo with a chair to set up 619. Dominik landed a frog splash to pin Vikingo for the win.
