Over the last few months, I have been working together with one of my favourite distilleries in Scotland to launch my very own whisky and I am so excited to share that it is finally ready!

In this video, you can watch the entire process of how we found the perfect whisky!

A few years ago, I barely knew anything about Scotland’s national drink. However, after travelling around Scotland, exploring the Isle of Islay, visiting many Scottish whisky distilleries, and learning more about Scotch whisky, I have somehow become a serious whisky convert!

In this video, I travel to the Ardnamurchan Distillery, one of my favourite whisky distilleries, located on the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula on Scotland's wild west coast. I learn more about how Scotch whisky is made at Ardnamurchan, see parts of the whisky production process, try peated and unpeated whisky, and discover why this young Scotch whisky distillery has become so respected for its sustainability, transparency and incredible flavour.

From cask selection to bottling, labelling and trying the first dram back at the Ardnamurchan whisky distillery, this is a very special whisky documentary about launching my first ever whisky!

This week I’m exploring the Cowal Peninsula, often called Scotland's secret coastline. It's a part of Scotland I knew surprisingly little about, despite spending years travelling around the country.

I love discovering remote and lesser-known parts of Scotland, and Cowal felt like exactly that. A coastline of hidden beaches, historic castles, rainforest-like gardens and small west coast villages, all explored in my little red campervan, Ernie.

In this Scotland travel vlog, I drive through the Scottish Highlands from the Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint down Loch Eck and along the scenic west coast of Argyll.

Some other highlights of my time exploring Cowal include visiting Benmore Botanic Garden, Dunoon, Tighnabruaich, Ostel Bay, Portavadie, and Old Castle Lachlan while discovering what I think is one of the most underrated road-trip destinations in Scotland.

This week I’m finally properly visiting Scotland's best seaside town, Oban, a place I’ve passed through so many times over the years but never really stopped to experience for itself.

Often described as Scotland’s seafood capital and the “Gateway to the Isles”, Oban sits on Scotland’s west coast surrounded by ferries, fishing boats and views out towards many different islands, making it one of the best places in Scotland to take ferry trips out to places like Mull, Kerrera, Lismore Coll, Tiree and even Barra.

In this Scotland travel vlog and Scotland travel guide, I explore some of the best things to do in Oban, including McCaig’s Tower, Ganavan Sands AND the busy harbourfront. I also visit Oban Distillery, which I’d highly recommend if you enjoy whisky distillery tours like I do.

Along the way, I try the fresh seafood from the famous Oban Seafood Hut, discover more about Oban’s Gaelic connections and see why this seaside town has become one of the most popular places to visit in Scotland.

Oban is also a great base for day trips out to islands like Iona, Staffa and Lunga, all of which I’ve visited before and filmed videos about, so I’ll leave links to those below if you’d like to explore more of Scotland’s islands.
