Loads of Brilliant DC Compact Comics Are Included in Amazon’s Latest Buy 2 Get 1 Free Sale

From now until March 31, Amazon’s Spring Sale has great savings on all the stuff you love, from games and movies to LEGOs and books, and so much more.

They even brought back their 3 for 2 deal on books, Blu-rays, and more, and there are some great DC Compact Comics Editions you can browse through to bundle and save on. Not every book from this printing label is available for the deal, like my personal favorite American Vampire, but there are plenty of other classic DC stories to add to your collection.

Buy 2 Comics, and Get Another 1 Free

This Spring Sale doesn’t require you to have a preexisting Prime Membership, so anybody can take advantage of the deals that last until next Tuesday, regardless of subscription status.

Many of these graphic novels have gotten big-screen adaptations, and Tom King’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is next up, releasing June 26. It follows the titular Kara Zor-el as she struggles with finding purpose and living in her famous cousin’s shadow, until she comes across a young alien girl whose planet has been destroyed.

The upcoming Supergirl movie seems to be following this same sort of theme, but the source material is a truly great read if you haven’t had the chance to check it out yet.

This sale features plenty of great Batman stories, with Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s The Court of Owls a modern masterpiece comics readers young and old should check out. And Batman: The Long Halloween, another personal favorite of mine, is a quintessential Bat-tale that’s inspired many of the live-action films and spawned its own animated adaptation.

For you fans of the Man of Steel, All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison is another piece of required reading, and heavily inspired the events in James Gunn’s Superman.

Kingdom Come is a classic Elseworlds tale that explores the (now commonplace) question of what if Superman didn’t use his powers for good?

Regardless of which DC Compact Comic you decide bundle with this deal, they’ll all fit nicely onto your bookshelf and not take up too much space — hence the name. They’re also perfect for traveling with on long flights or plane rides.
