Warner Bros & HBO have revealed the very first teaser trailer for the new Harry Potter series, another adaptation of the massively successful book series of the same name. But this time without any of the magic that makes the movie series as amazing as it (still) is. A new era of Hogwarts begins. The HBO Original Series Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone premieres at Christmas time streaming on HBO Max. This series stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, Arabella Stanton as Hermione, John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, plus Luke Thallon, Paul Whitehouse, Bertie Carvel, Johnny Flynn, Bel Powley, Daniel Rigby, Katherine Parkinson, Warwick Davis, and Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy. As you can see from this footage, it’s pretty much just the exact same thing all over again, but even more lifeless and uninteresting and drab. Just rewatch all the movies instead!
